The Lowest Pair

Formed in 2013, the band consists of dual banjoists and singer-songwriters Kendl Winter and Palmer T. Lee. Their name is derived from a poem by bluegrass musician John Hartford.

Their sound is characterized by high lonesome harmonies and intricate banjo/acoustic guitar interplay, blending traditional old-time roots with modern indie-folk and punk influences.
