Concert will last approximately 1 hour.
Perfect for children aged 7+, these concerts give children a fun introduction to the orchestra through music and storytelling.
Performed by young musicians from Chetham’s School of Music, this concert will introduce children to instruments of the orchestra through the big sound of a Big Band!
Programme will include jazz, latin and big band music from Europe, Africa and the Americas, including ‘Uptown Funk’ by Bruno Mars, ‘We Don’t Talk about Bruno’ from Encanto and the spectacular Artie Shaw ‘Clarinet Concerto.’
All performances will feature BSL supported sign by our presenter, SEAN CHANDLER, from BBC Philharmonic’s Musical Storyland.
