Firebird - Night And Day

Late nights, 3 stripes, and your shit team. Firebird. Formed in late 2024, the exciting four-piece alternative pop-rock band consists of singer and guitarist Harvey Burnell, guitarist Alex Galpin, drummer Euan Cavanagh, and bassist Kian Graham - a unit brought together through overlapping paths and shared ambition. Before Firebird became a band, it was a decision. An hour before a university reception was due to close, songwriter Harvey made the call to leave a veterinary surgery degree and pursue music full-time - a parent's dream. By that evening, the keys were handed in, his car packed, and a phone call home carried one simple message: trust me. Not long after, the pieces began to fall into place. Harvey met guitarist Alex, later crossing paths with Euan in music classes. Alex later met Kian at university bar. What started as loose connections across classrooms and campuses quickly became something more deliberate. Firebird formed not out of convenience, but conviction. The band has a clear identity and long-term message, that they are here to stay.
