Whether you’re a long-time supporter of barbershop music or discovering it for the first time, we’re delighted to welcome you.\n\nThroughout the weekend, choruses and quartets from the Quartet of Nations and Nordic Light Regions will take to the stage to perform music crafted in the acappella barbershop style — just voices, blended in harmony. These performances showcase not only musical excellence, but also the teamwork, friendship, and passion that sit at the heart of Sweet Adelines (an organization for women & people of marginalized genders).\n\nOn Friday, quartets compete for the titles of Region 31 and Region 32 Champion Quartet. Saturday features our chorus contest, closing with a performance from Milltown Sound, International Champions in the Small Chorus Division, followed by a special Saturday evening show. With over 1,200 singers, it promises to be a weekend to remember.\n\nThe show will include performances by Rönninge Show Chorus (three-time International Champions), Viva A Cappella (Region 31 Champions, heading to International competition in the USA this autumn), the newly crowned champion quartets, a youth chorus, and a unique joint chorus of past quartet champions from both regions.\n\nWe are also honoured to welcome Sweet Adelines International President, JD Crowe, alongside our international judging panel and guests from barbershop organisations across Europe.\n\nMost of all, this Convention is a celebration of music, community, and people.
